My approach to counselling is integrative, drawing from a range of modalities including relational, person-centred, narrative, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and transactional analysis (TA). This eclectic framework allows me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with.

My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their values and experiences, and how those impact their thoughts and emotions today. collaboration and transparency are key to me as I actively involve clients in the therapeutic process, working together to identify what is important to you and develop strategies for us to reach that.

In my work at a community mental health agency I have had the privilege of supporting clients of all ages; dealing with issues such as low self-esteem, body-issues, anxiety, relationship difficulties, intimacy concerns, depression, disordered eating patterns, and experiences of sexual assault.

I am in my final year of the Bachelor of Health Science degree in Counselling at AUT.  As a counselling intern, I am deeply committed to providing empathetic, effective and completely judgement-free support.

Outside of work, I love reading mysteries and chasing around a toddler with more energy than the sun.
