Anger is a natural and important human emotion. However, unhealthy anger can cause us to feel reactive and out of control. When anger becomes aggressive and/or violent, it damages lives and harms those around us. Unhealthy anger destroys relationships, happiness, careers, friendships, health and can lead to legal problems.

Holding on to anger until we explode isn’t healthy. Anger often signals that we are ignoring boundaries, suppressing our emotions, burning out, or ignoring issues. Learn how to develop new skills and behaviors to deal with anger in a healthier way. We offer one of one private counselling sessions.

Signs of unhealthy anger;

  • Often feeling frustrated and on the edge of exploding

  • Not feeling in control when you become upset

  • Feeling like you can’t communicate your feelings
